MOU SIGNING WITH SPADE

The Agriculture unit of School of Agriculture & Allied Sciences proudly announces their collaboration with Calcutta Society for Professional Action in Development (SPADE). This association will enhance our contribution towards rural community by collaboration with SPADE as well as FPCs promoted by them. TNU and SPADE will initiate training of program for farmers of South 24 Parganas on betel leaf essential oil extraction. The MoU included Alordisa Agro Fed Framers Producer Company Limited, Namkhana Kalpataru Agro Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited, Jeebika Agro Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited. The agreement will involve consultancy services, joint research, student internship and placement. This association will be mutually beneficial for the farming community of West Bengal as well as students of our prestigious university.
