Dr. Avishek Bardhan is an Assistant Professor and HOD in the Department of Aquatic Animal Health Management. With expertise in Fish Pathology, microbiology, and diagnostic techniques, Dr. Bardhan is dedicated to ensuring lab safety procedures and regulations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, he willingly takes on added responsibilities to meet team goals. As a published author with 4 national and 9 international research articles, Dr. Bardhan serves as the Principle Investigator (PI) of a TNU-funded minor project. His proficiency in lab equipment handling, research, and data curation has led to the successful execution of experiments and timely reporting. Dr. Bardhan’s leadership and communication skills make him an exceptional mentor to junior post-graduates. Moreover, he is an esteemed member of The Asia Society of Researchers (ASR) and an Associate Member of EuroScience. Proficient in SPSS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Dr. Bardhan brings a wealth of knowledge and bilingual capabilities to any academic environment. Notably, Dr. Bardhan’s achievements include receiving the ‘Young Scientist Award (ICAATAS 2023)’ at an international conference with participation from multinational institutions. He was also honored with the ‘Best PhD Thesis Award’ in SCALFE 2023 international conference for his groundbreaking work on fish erythrocytes and florfenicol antibiotic.
