Dr. Srabanti did her M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam; and Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India. She also qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2007) with a score 365. She has a total of 13.6 years of teaching experience. She has published a total of 11 research publications in international peer-reviewed SCI-indexed Journal like Future Medicinal Chemistry (IF 4.767), Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology B: Biology (IF 6.814), RSC Advances (IF 4.036), Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics (IF 4.297), Medicinal Chemistry Research (IF 2.351), Current topics in medicinal chemistry (IF 3.570), Letters in Drug Design & Discovery (IF 1.099), and Asian Journal of Chemistry (IF 0.535). She has published one book Chapter in Cancer Leading Proteases, Elsevier book, ISBN: 9780128181683. She received a Teaching Assistantship from the Ministry of Education, Government of India from July 2014 to July 2019. She received an International Travel Support grant from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), India for Presenting a paper at the 52nd International Conference on Medicinal Chemistry, ‘RICT 2016 Interfacing Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery’, Caen, Normandy, France on 6 to 8th July 2016. She also received the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) scholarship from August 2007 to July 2009.
