I am privileged to be a part of the School of Maritime Studies. The training is rigorous and discipline oriented. It has amazingly well-built infrastructure including a one-of-a-kind Ship in Campus having a fully operational 4000 BHP Ship Engine along with complete set of machineries available on the ship( like Generator, Oil-Water separator, Boiler, Fire Control Lab etc.), Bridge Simulator, Workshop, Seamanship & Firefighting Labs, Smart Classrooms and also a Free Fall Lifeboat. The hostels are extremely clean and spacious. The campus is very well guarded. There are strict security protocols that have to be followed; this is about providing the highest safety to students and faculties living on campus. Scholarships are provided by the university on the basis of various categories.
